Reactions: Gearbox Not Working on a Halo Game

No Halo for you! Ever!

According to that ever flowing fount of game industry knowledge, Twitter, the Halo Waypoint team has destroyed all of your hopes and dreams by saying “For the record, Gearbox is NOT working on a Halo title for Microsoft.” Yup, that seems to be that, then.

But it still doesn’t explain Gearbox president Randy Pitchford had to dodge this question (about 5 mins into the video) about developing a Halo game for Microsoft.

That’s certainly too bad, though. Really seems like Gearbox could have done wonderful things with the Halo franchise. Like that squad based shooter I keep asking for. Hopefully Halo: Reach will provide me with that, though.
