Reactions: Left 4 Dead DLC announced

Turns out Valve wasn’t lying after all. According to Kotaku, Xbox 360 and PC gamers alike will be seeing a new campaign titled “Crash Course” this September. The new level, which bridges the “No Mercy” and “Death Toll” campaigns, will work with all game modes, although it’s being tailored to be “a complete Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes.” A recharge timer for infected teammates and tweaked item spawning are also part of the DLC in the effort to further balance the multiplayer experience. The 360 version will run you 560 MS points, while the PC version will be as free as a bird. It’s nice to see the promise of DLC support kept, although 30 minutes just doesn’t seem like a very long campaign.
