Reactions: The clouds are getting darker

Hey, remember Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 from back in the PS2 days? Remember how awesome they were? Well, Level 5, the developer responsible for said awesomeness, recently told Kotaku that a sequel is a definite possibility. Unfortunately though, they’re solely focused on White Knight Chronicles right now.

“At this moment we don’t have a specific plan for a sequel in the Dark Cloud series,” said Level 5′s Yoshiaki Kusuda…(But) there are many staff members, including myself at Level 5, who have worked on the Dark Cloud series. There are some who decided to join Level 5 because they love the Dark Cloud series. So, if requests from users should increase in the future, we would seriously consider making it.”

I never played Dark Cloud 2, but the first game is the only JRPG I’ve ever completed. I really loved that game. So go start an online petition or whatever you internet types do. InsaneBear commands you.
