Random: Because there’s no gaming news out there

Enjoy some more fantastic music, brought to you by InsaneBear. Listening to stuff like this really makes me wish some games would take the Cowboy Bebop approach and make music a part of the action. And for crying out loud, we can move beyond orchestral scores once in a while! You’d be surprised how well jazz can compliment action.

Now I’m just getting all depressed about the fact that the only fringe creativity we’ll ever see in games will come from small indie titles because full-blown games simply cost too much to take risks with. There needs to be some revolutionary technology that drastically reduces the cost of development on AAA titles. I’m going to just end this rant now and go listen to some “El Watusi.”
