Random: What has Tony Hawk come to?

"Come oonnn!"

And no, I don’t mean the once proud video game franchise that’s fallen on hard times. I mean the once proud skater who’s been living off of name recognition for at least ten years now. You can thank Kotaku for finally destroying any respect you might have had for the man, though.

They’re reporting that Mr. Hawk is now actively soliciting people through Twitter to play the universally panned Tony Hawk: Ride with him (Gamertag: tonyinegypt). That’s not the sad part though. The sad part is that Tony went on to say that he’d add anybody who plays the game to his Xbox Live friends list. The really sad part? I doubt enough people are playing Tony Hawk: Ride to max out his friends list.
