Reactions: More Borderlands DLC on the way
Hopefully it's as good as this was!
According to a post in Borderlands‘ official forums, Gearbox is working on a third installment of DLC for the game and it’s set to be the biggest one yet.
“Guess what, level cap increase anyone? Got it and it’s awesome,” wrote level designer Jason Reiss. “Hopefully we can get a full announcement out to you guys soon but, man is this the biggest DLC we have made.”
Yes, Jason, that does sound awesome. Now start working on getting us more details!

Yeah, well, unless the level cap comes with more abilities to keep an opportunity cost for choosing one talent tree skill over the other, I fail to see the point.
The absolute worst designed RPGs that have a talent tree style of building are the ones that leave you with every single one filled in completely, and thus all top characters identical.

I’d agree with you in most cases. Like, I wouldn’t want to be able to obtain every skill in Dragon Age. Each character needs to be unique. But for whatever reason, I don’t care in Borderlands. Just give me skill points and loot while I shoot stuff, please!
