Sad day, I’m sure, like every other gaming movie, that the Mass Effect one would be not so great. I can see it with lots of expensive effects and very shallow character development, with a very predictable storyline.

Of all possible game-to-movie conversions, I could actually see a Mass Effect one working. I mean, the game is sort of a tribute to old sci-fi movies anyways. And I think the story and characters would work well in a movie. But do I want to see it? No. Why can’t video games just be video games?
