Reactions: News on all sorts of EA games in the next year

Nothing to do with EA...just a timely image.
Well, the cat’s out of the bag on EA’s Fiscal 2011 lineup. Translated from $$$ to English, that means we know (for now) what games to look forward to for the period beginning April 1st, 2010 and ending March 31st, 2011.
Of note to the InsaneBear user-base, there’s a new Dragon Age title scheduled for the January-March 2011 period. EA’s financial report doesn’t specify the title as part of the Origins brand, so theoretically, it could be a full-blown sequel. But given the short turn-around time and BioWare’s promise of two years worth of Origins DLC, it seems more likely that it could be another major expansion like the upcoming Dragon Age: Origins – Awakenings. Another potential-laden title set for that time-frame is Dead Space 2.
Some games that appear to be closer to our grasps are Crysis 2, which is due for Q4 2010, and the Medal of Honor reboot, which could hit stores as early as this July, but more likely in August or September.
But the most interesting and evasive bit of news to come from EA’s conference call is word that Q1 2011 (the same period harboring the new Dragon Age and Dead Space 2) holds “something far-reaching for Mass Effect,” whatever that means. Thoughts?

Has nothing to do with this story, but interesting nonetheless.

Looks like all of those games will feature an online component, whether it be multiplayer or DLC. In fact, every one of EA’s games for Fiscal 2011 will have some sort of online functionality.
