Lol. You seem to possess a sick hatred for dogs, my friend. Didn’t you hear? They’re man’s best friend. Get with the times.
And here’s a developer diary that shows the game running in action. The morphing stuff and unique weapons sound pretty great.

If I have an option to kill it like in II, it will dull the hatred down a bit. I have an idea – next Fable, let’s have a dog bark, a cat give a long meow, sirens blaring, and then for good measure a whole chorus of crying babies every time a treasure chest is near. That way we can be sure we don’t miss a single thing.
It’s really a shame because it makes no sense this time around. The first time it was like, alright, part of this slummy kid’s upbringing was finding this dog that appears to transcend the aging effects of time. But now I’m supposed to be a King. Kings should be walking around with a personal guard, not a stupid dog.

Dude, you don’t end your relationship with pets when you move up in social standing. Have you ever had a pet? They’re family. Your character in Fable III isn’t born into royalty, so it makes perfect sense for him to have a dog.
As for BioShock 2′s story, yes, it was [reserved for the review (which should be coming around Tuesday)]
