Trailers: The Old Republic developer dispatch
I don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but they really should have just made a proper Knights of the Old Republic 3. But I’m even more worried that if they experience big time success with this MMO then they’ll start ruining all of their franchises. Hopefully I’m just being paranoid.

Speaking of EA games that took a long time to develop, I was astonished to hear that Mirror’s Edge was in development for seven years.

I also don’t like the way that former developer is quoted as saying “…I think it needed a second generation so they can tweak on it…” “Needed” doesn’t exactly bode well for a sequel to one of the most innovative, yet underselling games of this generation. Why does money have to rule everything?

Woah! Now hold on there, pretty lady!
Money is a representation of total utility derived by consumers
The more money a game makes, the happier it made people
– so if a game doesn’t make money
, it didn’t make people happy
and needs to die
It’s a way to make sure the limited
amount of resources we have in this here world
get spent the absolute best
way possible, to make people like you and me happy
! Think of all the people that are happy
when a product, any product, succeeds!
Even if they are all total tools and think the movie Avatar
was something good. We might not win sometimes
but money tries to make sure most of us win EVERY time

Fuck most of us. I’m better than most of us. I liked Mirror’s Edge.

Well, if I were to judge that game based on its cover, I’d have to say the market got Mirror’s Edge right.

Box art isn’t exactly the strong suit of 95% of video games. But, Kotaku has been good about featuring fan-made remedies for the situation.

And after 20 minutes of searching, I present to you what may be the most incredible box art EVAR!
