Seriously, man! I used to be damn good at Halo 2…tonight has been humbling. I guess I just don’t have the time or the interest to play that much any more, but I will forever remember my competitive Halo days with great fondness. And I’m blaming tonight on the fact that my HD TV is stretching the image out…that explains piss-poor accuracy and no head shots, right?

So anyways, I’m going to go play my final game right now…hahaha…Well, that was going to be my final game, but I didn’t want to end with my teammates telling me how much I suck and how stupid my Gamertag is (really guys, on the last night of Halo 2 ever?), so I started betraying them all and found it to be absolutely hilarious. I actually got booted too. Considering I never once played like this back in my glory days, it’s pretty effin’ fun. Maybe I’ll go do this for a while.

Haha…some dude in the lobby just asked, “You guys got a MySpace?” And to my surprise, the weirdos are now talking about being MySpace friends together…

Well, I’ve quit betraying my teammates, as it gets me booted too quickly. Now I just chase them around and shoot them until they kill me, so I can boot them! Some of them are smart and won’t kill me, so I just stick to them like white on rice and they say things like, “Dude, why are you doing this?” Hahaha, fucking assholes!

Was just leading my team to victory (no, really, I was!) and decided to quit a ranked match for the first time ever. If not now, then when, right?

Well, the last game was going to be 3v3 CTF on Beaver Creek, but my teammates made a convincing argument that that would be a bad final game. So I quit. Next game was 1 flag CTF. Quit that. No more time. Hope the third time’s a charm…Come on Halo 2 matchmaking…hurry up!

2:58AM, Team Slayer Pro on Turf, 4v4. Shit…other team quit. Hurry up matchmaking! This dude in the lobby’s asking if the world’s going to implode. Should I talk to these mutants for one last time? Yes.

Well, 3:05AM. My final online game of Halo 2 was Team Rockets on my favorite mid-sized map, Ivory Tower. I was actually kicking ass and taking names. Thought I’d go out in a blaze of glory. Then I shot my teammate because he was in close proximity to an enemy. My final action in Halo 2 was to get booted, lol. Maybe it’s karma for all that team killing I did over the past hour.

Anyways, great game with great maps. Wish Halo 3 had maps that good. I’ll miss this old gal. Suppose I could try jump-starting her one last time just to see what happens.

What the hell? It’s 3:20 and this thing’s still working. It’s still overrun with rednecks who swear like its their job. What did I even stay up for? This is all a sick lie. Go ahead and die already.
