Reactions: Dragon Age, Alan Wake, and RDR DLC updates

Hello, fans of Dragon Age. Finished with the Awakening expansion? Well, BioWare has been kind enough to prepare another piece of post-release content for you to consume. Titled “Leliana’s Song,” the latest DLC for the acclaimed RPG puts the player in the foxy shoes of Leliana, everybody’s favorite bard from Origins. We get to play through her mysterious past. Oooh. Look for “Leliana’s Song” on July 6th for the low, low price of $7 (560 MS Points).

And if bad games are more up your alley, then Alan Wake‘s freshly priced episodes might suit you. For the high, high price of $7, you’ll be able to play through roughly 90 minutes of “The Signal” sometime next month. If you bought the game new then you received a redemption code that will grant the DLC to you for free. But even with that code, you’ll still have to pony up the $7 for “The Writer” pack, which is set to come out sometime after “The Signal.”

And lastly, 1UP is reporting that the free “Outlaws to the End” co-op DLC for Red Dead Redemption will release this Tuesday. That should be fun. And if you just can’t wait ’til then, the Crackdown 2 demo is coming on Monday. But you’re probably crazy if you want to play that, considering how atrocious the first game was. There’s also a whole bunch of other arcade games and DLC packs detailed in the above link if you’re looking for something to tide you over in the lean months of summer.
