Reactions: Details on Dead Space 2′s multiplayer?

EA hasn’t had much to say about Dead Space 2‘s multiplayer thus far, but according to GamerNode that’s all about to change. The site reports that EA coughed up some details at the annual GameStop conference in San Antonio, Texas. Namely, “The game will allow players to control the Necromorphs in deathmatch-style combat against standard ‘soldiers,’ and vice-versa, along with other multiplayer types to be announced later.” Sounds a lot like Left 4 Dead‘s Versus modes, which certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing.

GamerNode also says that “Pre-ordering the game at GameStop gets you a free Rivet Gun, but more importantly you also get the downloadable Dead Space: Ignition for free no matter where you pre-order it.” Good stuff.
