Random: Brett Favre: Video Game Icon

Brett's reaction when given the wonderful news.
It’s been a rather lazy Saturday afternoon around the InsaneBear offices today. So, as frequently happens, I found myself browsing the Giant Bomb video game encyclopedia/database thingy. I wander my way over to the Characters section, and, as expected, Mario has appeared in more games than any other character, beating out Luigi by about 50 games. As I continue scrolling down the list, I notice something of an anomaly. Brett Favre, the Brett Favre, holds the number 12 spot, right behind Ryu, and tied with the likes of video game icons such as Dr. Eggman and Boo, with a total of 57 games.
It would seem that Mr. Favre has been in every football game ever made; has never entered another genre; and had no need to sell out like other athletes *cough*Shaq Fu*cough*. There would seem to be only a handful of other actual human beings on this list (unless you count wrestlers as real human beings, which, of course, we do not). Yet another record we can add on to this man’s storied career.
