Reactions: New Halo 3 Maps Are Out
More Halo 3 Multiplayer!
This could be looked at as the beginning of the end for Halo 3. After this map pack and ODST, Bungie claims that they’re not working on anymore Halo 3 content. But for the time being Halo 3 players have, for the low, low price of 800 MS Points, 3 new maps on which to kill each other. So… go have fun and kill each other.
The long-awaited Mythic Map Pack drops into Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Investigate Orbital’s abandoned hallways – before it was evacuated, the Quito Space Tether was heralded as the “Civil Engineering Monument of the Millennium.” Witness Assembly, where Scarab hulls loom overhead, being decontaminated in preparation for the city-sized Lekgolo colonies that will breathe life into the massive metal husks. An excavation site surrounded by deadly Forerunner defenses, the mysteries of Sandbox are hidden high above, deep below, and right before your eyes.

Hopefully this means they’ll make the Legendary Map Pack free. I mean, it has been out for nearly a year now if I remember correctly. I remember when Halo 2′s map packs regularly became free after a few months on the market…I also remember how I played Halo 2 religiously. Funny how I haven’t played Halo 3 in well over a year.
