My Gaming History: I started gaming when I was about 10 years old. I had dabbled in some Mortal Kombat on the Genesis along with various other random games on the NES and SNES, but, for the most part, I’m sad to say that I am a product of the “Playstation Generation.” My first fond memories of serious gaming were playing Ocarina of Time on the N64. I remember many an all nighter with that game. I eventually bought a Playstation which introduced me to my favorite RPG series with Final Fantasy VIII.

The next console generation introduced me to the PS2 and great games such as Metal Gear Solid 2, GTA 3, and Final Fantasy X. I eventually bought a Gamecube too, and, though I own quite a few games for it and have put many hours of gaming into it, I never really felt satisfied with that system. For the longest time I was fanatical in my hatred for the Xbox and refused to get one. Until one day, a friend of mine purchased one and I felt obligated to get one. After I played great games such as Halo I’ve been hooked ever since and the rest is history.

These days I try to own every console, so I can experience all of the great games that come out for each. My first console purchase this generation was an Xbox 360 and I haven’t regretted it for a moment (except for the time that it red ringed, but we’ll just forget about that). I also own a PS3 and a Wii. The PS3’s finally starting to come into its own as a system and I’m finding more and more reason to play it, thought I still only own 4 PS3 games. As for my Wii… I almost regret that purchase… almost.
