Reactions: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale unvealed
It might have taken ten years too long, but Sony finally has an answer for Super Smash Bros. and it looks exactly how you’d expect it to. I think the only question that needs to be answered right now is if the game will have an equivalent to Poké balls. Well, that and the potential for pre-order incentives to include cheese and a playable Samuel L. Jackson character…no? Forcing it? Just shut up and enjoy the in-depth interview below.

And you’re at the heart of it! That’s right, Portal 2 owner, for the low, low price of zero dollars, you can download the Puzzler’s latest DLC for PC or Mac (no word on consoles yet) on the eighth day of the fifth month of the 2012th year of our Lord, and spend the next 735,000 days or so trying to create test chambers as good as Valve’s. Just remember that Cave Johnson will probably burn your house down if your efforts disappoint.

These companies really need to think out their titles a little more lest they end up with eight different origin stories and a few subtitles to boot. But anyways, Kotaku is reporting that “an anonymous tipster” sent them the above image (and more if you follow the link), claiming to have found them “in a survey from marketing firm Arkenford,” a firm that Ubisoft has frequently used before.

That’s right, friends, the fine folks at Amazon’s French branch are listing a bundle of Resistance 1, 2, and 3 for €59.99, or $79.99 here in the States. If I had to guess, I’d say that that price will be closer to $59.99 when the collection launches in North America. Just when will that be, you ask? Amazon says May 16th, but that seems awfully soon with no official announcement from Sony. Still, I’d say that this rumor is pretty legitimate and we can count on killing all sorts of drab, brown aliens relatively soon.

Fans eagerly waiting for any news on the fate of one of the coolest looking games in years, Prey 2, can rest a little easier now that Bethesda Softworks has announced that the game has not been canceled, but rather delayed “beyond 2012.” As you’ll see in the press release below, they give the standard quality control excuse, but it might be something a little more sinister.

Yay! A pre-prequel giving us even more time to spend with Kratos…how inspired.

See what I did there? It’s because all talk of the multiplayer so far seems to indicate that 343 Industries is trying their damnedest to copy CoD and Battlefield instead of respecting the fact that Bungie managed unique online experiences for nearly ten years. Enough with the persistent leveling experiences!
Author: CodyReactions: Crysis 3 set for spring 2013?

According to Russian gaming site MadFanboy (via CVG), it is. With EA accidentally listing the game on its Origin service just a few days ago and then officially admitting to its existence (with details to come on April 16th), a spring 2013 release seems very plausible.

You can pre-order the game before April 16th, you can be a PlayStation Plus member, or you can own Splinter Cell: Conviction. I feel sorry for you if any of those options apply to you (like they do for me…damn you, Splinter Cell: Conviction!), because frankly they all seem like horrible punishment for having any interest in this generic looking game.

And you know, boring holes through gigantic snow yettis just doesn’t look as cool as it sounds. And if a pre-rendered CG trailer looks this boring, it certainly can’t be a good sign for the gameplay. Hopefully Capcom will prove me wrong.
