Feature: In the year 2010…

Maybe Nintendo will finally make sense of this in 2010. Maybe...
So I’ve put Dragon Age: Origins down long enough for all the other humans to tell me about this new year that’s on the way. Being the logical person that I am (and one who is most certainly not taking orders from an insane bear), I figured I’d judgmentally look back on 2009 this Saturday, once we’ve officially moved into the new year and had enough recovery time to write a Game of the Year feature. But for today, it’s still 2009, so it only seems appropriate to hopefully gaze ahead to the coming year and build expectations that will only be shattered. Such is life. That’s why we have cheesy New Year’s resolutions that try to compensate for last year’s disappointments. But we’re not to that point yet! For now, let’s just focus on all the goodness that 2010 can bring.
Author: CodyReactions: Get Castle Crashers on the cheap, one day only

Hey, do you like hack-and-slash co-op exploits in zany game-worlds? You do? Oh, but you don’t have the money? Well, friend, you’re in luck. You’ve got until the clock strikes midnight to snatch up Castle Crashers from the Xbox Live Arcade for 560 Microsoft Points ($7). That’s more than half off! Now get crashing!

Author: CodyRandom: Everybody loves donuts
Thank you, ‘Splosion Man, for be ridiculous enough to include this song in your game. And thank you, GiantBomb, for letting letting me know this song exists.
Author: CodyRandom: The Midnight Riders want to kick your ass
Yup, the Midnight Riders of Left 4 Dead 2 fame. Hopefully their managers (and by managers, I mean Valve and their ability to create awesome meta-stories for their games) will look into a Star Wars special next.
Author: CodyReactions: Apparently, there’s more Borderlands DLC around the corner
I don’t know where in the world this came from, but I guess Borderlands is receiving a second DLC pack just in time for the new year. Kotaku can flesh out the details for you.
Author: CodyTrailers: Mass Effect 2 gameplay, some story
So there’s some pretty spoiler-free gameplay there. This next clip however, alludes to that whole deal where we all thought Shepard was KIA when this game first started getting previewed. So if you want to know more about that, go ahead and watch. Considering this is all within the first hour or so of the game, I don’t think the experience will be ruined for you if you do.
