Reactions: Batman: Arkham Asylum Officially Delayed
Looks like the Joker got his way... for now...
There has been a rumor floating around today that Batman: Arkham Asylum was to be delayed. Well, official word has finally come from Eidos and Warner Bros. and, sadly, has been delayed. The only reason given for the delay was that they wanted to ensure the game “is of the highest quality for gamers.” Don’t worry though, it’s not being delayed until Fall like the rumors said, the release window is now “summer 2009,” which is kind of funny considering the game was set to be released on June 23rd. That’s a full two days after the summer solstice! I would assume that we can expect the game to be coming sometime in July or August now… I’m so perceptive! With those kind of investigation skills I could be Batman.

It seems like every time I see this game it looks cooler. That combat actually looks fun. Hopefully the game’s as good as its marketing come June.
