Reactions: Skyrim’s DLC to be expansive

I'd be willing to pay for a horse that could walk on two legs...
With Oblivion‘s DLC ranging from horse armor to The Shivering Isles, and Fallout 3‘s post-release offerings coming in five mid-sized adventures, a lot of people are understandably curious about Bethesda’s DLC plans for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. According to Mr. Todd Howard himself, there aren’t any specific DLC plans yet.
Author: CodyTrailers: Brink’s looking pretty classy
Well, not really, when you consider there’s not much class in blatantly ripping off other games (read: Team Fortress 2). And hey, they even managed to do it without retaining any of the humor or personality! Oh, I kid, I kid. Brink is actually looking like one of the more interesting FPSs this year, what with class-based combat that’s more concerned with objectives than kill counts. The support abilities that every class can offer to their teammates should make for an especially fun an co-operative experience. More video below!

Or lose control of any other bodily functions. It’s just that good. Like. Seriously. I want to take next semester off so I can just play this game day in and day out, soothing any trivial problems my life might have with the sweet numbing embrace of this virtual shrine of all that is good and right in video games. November 11th can’t come soon enough.
Author: CodyTrailers: Let Skyrim leave you in awe
My jaw literally dropped at one point in that trailer and no amount of words can express my excitement for this game. The possibility that this could be one of the last great single-player RPGs before multiplayer mucks everything up just makes it that much more epic. Everything about Skyrim is beautiful.
Author: CodyReactions: Get the skinny on Skyrim

Game Informer (via NeoGAF) has broken the ice on the snowy mountain tops of Skyrim, and word is that this magical rim of the great blue realm (okay, it’s not really in the sky) is full of wonderful delights that many an adventurer is sure to enjoy.
Author: CodyReactions: Elder Scrolls V confirmed as direct sequel to Oblivion?

According to Eurogamer Denmark (via Eurogamer), Bethesda is hard at work on The Elder Scrolls V, which is said to be a chronological sequel to one of my all-time favorite RPGs, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. As far as how Bethesda plans on tying the stories together, Eurogamer’s source mentions something about a “Dragon Lord” and “something with The Blades.”

I was worried that this game wasn’t going to show for E3. Glad to see it make an appearance. Things are looking good.
Author: CodyReactions: Roam radio-active wastelands for half price this week only

In case you’re a weirdo like me and you haven’t spent your hard-earned bottle caps on Fallout 3‘s bevy of DLC packs yet, this might be the week to do it. According to 1UP, each of the five add-ons (“Operation Anchorage,” “The Pitt,” “Broken Steel,” “Point Lookout,” and “Mothership Zeta”) will sell for $5 a piece, as opposed to the usual $10. This uranium opportunity only lasts til Monday, so pony up the cash and settle in for several more hours of depression. Things are always more enticing when they’re half-off!
