Trailers: Create a character in Brink

I have really mixed feelings on this game so far. I mean, it seems to be doing a lot of cool things that appeal to me, but then it’s also wasting its time with some stupid character creator for a character you play as from the first person perspective. And what’s up with that visual style? Graphically, it’s semi-realistic, but the art direction takes this weird, tongue-in-check sort of vibe. Those two techniques clash. It’s weird. If they want to rip of Team Fortress 2‘s character models, why not go all the way and throw the cartoony visuals in too?
