So yeah, turns out the Packers suck this year. At least I’ll have Modern Warfare 2 to play on Sundays…

Trailers: The game that gets more awesome with every showing
This game looks so good that you probably didn’t even realize that was a 15 minute clip. I really can’t say anything more than “wow”. Maybe it’s not doing anything radically new, but Modern Warfare 2 looks to be the most polished game I’ve ever seen. November 10th, 2009!

Why is it that every trailer they put out for this game is so good that it almost hurts to watch? Infinity Ward is doing everything right with this game. Also, if I remember correctly, Capture The Flag was not a game mode in the first Modern Warfare, so we can expect at least one new multiplayer mode. The blood effects look absolutely fantastic. And that knife throw at the end can be summed up in two words–”bad” and “ass”. But perhaps more practically awesome than any of the above features is the new host migration system seen towards the end of the clip. If it really works that well, then you won’t have to wait but five seconds to jump back into the action after the host leaves. No going back to the lobby for you!

C.R.E.A.M.
I can hold my tongue no longer. I utterly despise Activision-Blizzard and everything it stands for. I mean, it’s one thing to pump out sequels and licensed games while working to monopolize the market like the old EA, but at least they knew their place in the industry. When Activision CEO Bobby Kotick came out and threatened to pull support for the PlayStation 3 and PSP a few days ago, I knew that all humanity had been drained from the company. Kotick is probably a robot.

Since the Modern Warfare 2 (that would also appear to be the official title, no “Call of Duty” in your Modern Warfare) trailer was released, crazy people have done what crazy people do (I kid, I kid) and analyzed the trailer pretty much frame by frame. There’s plenty of little clues riddled throughout. New perks, different locations for missions, etc., etc. But the most important piece of info found within is the inclusion of bears!
Bears! Are they insane... perhaps.
