Reactions: Dragon Age II’s “Signature Edition” features free DLC
Thanks to Eurogamer, we now know of a brash and wild rogue with a sexy accent that’ll be appearing in Dragon Age II. Phew! I was worried that BioWare was only going to use stock characters.
Author: CodyReactions: ME2 getting one more DLC pack

According to Kotaku, there are people with enough time on their hands to boot up Mass Effect 2 and not play it, but read brief reports on out-of-game happenings within the Mass Effect universe through the Cerberus Network’s daily updates. Considering I didn’t even know this thing existed, I am clearly not one of those people.
Author: CodyReactions: Inevitable Black Ops DLC strikes Feb. 1st

This is the sort of story that I just live to report on. Without me, how would anybody know that Activision plans on releasing a $15 map pack for the latest Call of Duty game? How will they know about the oh-so-surprising timed exclusivity of the Xbox 360 version? How will they know about the standard three…wait a minute…there’s actually five maps and none of them are rehashes of old ones. Way to go Treyarch! Continue reading if you care about map names.

In case you forgot what dudes sound like when they’re on fire.
Author: CodyReactions: Check out BF: Bad Company 2′s latest map pack
That would be the “VIP map pack 7,” due out December 1st for free (unless you bought a used copy of the game, of course).

They certainly look like good maps, I just hope Bungie doesn’t do what they did with Halo 3 and require them to play most game-types. On another note, I WANTZ TO LAN DIS GAME!
Author: CodyReactions: Kill some of your money with New Vegas’ “Dead Money” DLC

December 21st. Exclusive to the 360. 800 Microsoft Points ($10). It “has players working alongside three other captured wastelanders to recover the treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino. The download add-on includes new terrain, foes and choices.” You can assume it’s as buggy and broken as Fallout: New Vegas itself. Great name, though.
Author: CodyReactions: Costume Quest sells out with “Grubbins on Ice” DLC

I mean, really, the minute you put anything on ice you’ve officially sold out. Sadly, though, I’m not joking about this DLC. The new content, set to hit sometime next month, picks up after Costume Quest‘s conclusion and pits Lucy, Everett, Wren, and Reynold in a new adventure that takes them “into another world, where they once again must go door-to-door looking for candy and fending off grubbins.” Sounds to me like the same game with a new skin that doesn’t even make sense in the context this game’s mechanics.
Author: CodyReactions: Fable III conquers its 1st colony of DLC

See, the headline makes sense because you play a king in Fable III (which I will be reviewing this week), and kings do things like conquer places that weren’t originally part of their empire, and then they charge people $5 to see those places. Something like that, at least. What I’m trying to say is that come November 23rd, Lionhead will be releasing the “Understone Quest Pack” and the “Exclusive Hair Pack” for $5 and $2, respectively.
Author: CodyTrailers: You’ll love the smell of this BF: BC 2 Vietnam trailer
Yeah, I totally stole that headline from Joystiq. It was just too good to pass up. And if we ignore the awkwardly placed blues rock that undermines the loss of human life just a little bit, then maybe this Bad Company 2 DLC expansion will be too good to pass up too.
