Random: Activision CEO wants to “take all the fun out of making video games”
My disdain for one Bobby Kotick is well documented. Some of you agree with me, some of you don’t. But I just thought I’d share some comments Mr. Kotick recently made between thoughts of how much money he has and how much more he will have tomorrow.

Our Adventures: First LAN of the Summer
That pretty much covers the only LANable games out there.
So as you may have inferred from the title of this snazzy little post, we here at InsaneBear recently had our first LAN of the summer. It was sort of a low-key and disorganized affair in comparison to what we usually do, but it was fun nonetheless. We thought we’d share some pictures of the good times and spread the good word about LANs.

They're having fun. But why?
Video games. We know ‘em, we love ‘em. We spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars every year in order to own all of the best titles. Sometimes we are disappointed, but, many times, our discerning tastes are able to weed out the garbage and find those truly great games. But what is it that makes those games great? What is it about those games that makes us want to spend more on them rather than donate that money to starving children? Well, that’s probably a discussion for another time… but, you want to know what it is that makes those games great? They are fun. Plain and simple. We enjoy playing them.
