Trailers: Check out one of the greatest games of all time in HD
I like to imagine that the Japanese text is saying things like, “Murder innocent colossi in more crisp detail than ever before!” That’s the sort of motto marketing departments go for, right? Anyways, jump past the break to see an equally gorgeous trailer for the Ico half of the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection, due out September 27th for the PS3.

How can I go on without experiencing breast physics!?!
Some people might get the impression that since I run a website about video games then I must know everything about them. I’d like to think I’m pretty knowledgeable, but the truth is that there a lot of classic games I’ve never even played before. This list is a look at some of the titles that slipped me by but have managed to stand the test of time and keep calling out to me. I’d like to try and play all of them before the great arcade cabinet that is life sucks all the quarters out of me. Hopefully publishers will humor my superficiality and do some HD-remakes!

Anybody who’s looked for the PS2 cult-classic Ico knows how expensive and hard to secure it can be. Just as revered (if not more so) and easier to obtain was Team ICO’s next endeavor, Shadow of the Colossus. While legions of loyal fans are patiently awaiting the developer’s next title, The Last Guardian, there is still plenty of demand for the older masterpieces.

Kotaku has gotten word of a recently leaked trailer code named “Project TRICO.” Remembering that Shadow of the Colossus was originally code named “Project NICO,” it isn’t really a stretch of the imagination to assume this game is the third entry in the ICO universe. Pair that with the signature art direction of Fumito Ueda’s team and the fact that the apparent protagonist of the trailer looks so similar to the protagonist of ICO, and it seems more than likely that this is legit. Guess the big E3 surprise got out a little early.
