independence day
Random: Hope everybody enjoyed Independence Day!

For those of you not in the know, that’s also known as the 4th of July. I really hate that name, though, because it doesn’t actually convey what the holiday represents. Sure, getting hammered, eating too many hot dogs, and blowing stuff up is an American pastime, but there’s a reason behind it on this day! But yeah, InsaneBear is just here to wish everybody a happy and safe Independence Day, one day late. Oh, and I totally considered using the image from Independence Day where the White House blows up instead of the flag and fireworks, but, you know…I didn’t. Mayhaps I should rectify that?
Author: CodyFeature: Top 5 revolutions that should be made into video games

233 years ago today, our great nation declared independence from the colonial rule of Great Britain. The ensuing war of independence was fought in the name of American ideals like freedom and equality and representation. Without victory, that awesome light saber battle you see above may very well have never been created. Granted, the Americans wielding red sabers makes me sort of think a Brit made the awesomeness, but my point is that the American Revolution changed the face of the world forever. And throughout the history of human conflict, there are plenty more revolutions with just as much, if not more influence than our own. So in the revolutionary spirit of The 4th of July, I thought I’d compile a little list of revolutions that would make awesome games.
