level 5
Reactions: It’s insane
Capcom and Level 5 are allegedly teaming up to make a crossover of the Professor Layton and Ace Attorney games, but frankly, this is just too crazy to believe. It also doesn’t help that the entire trailer is in Japanese. So until I have some sort of official confirmation, this is just the work of some Japanese lunatic who may or may not pose a threat to public safety. Oh, who am I kidding? This is totally real because insanity simply can’t compete with Japanese quirkiness.

From developer Level 5 (the Professor Layton series) comes Ni no Kuni, a game that I know almost nothing about other than what I can derive from this fantastic looking trailer. I’ll keep everyone updated on this title as information becomes available.

Hey, remember Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 from back in the PS2 days? Remember how awesome they were? Well, Level 5, the developer responsible for said awesomeness, recently told Kotaku that a sequel is a definite possibility. Unfortunately though, they’re solely focused on White Knight Chronicles right now.
