Reactions: Madden DLC announcement
GameSpot‘s revealed that a special DLC pack commemorating the AFL’s 50th anniversary is on the way for Madden owners everywhere at the low, low price of 560 Microsoft Points ($6.99).

Wondering how Tony Hawk: Ride plays? This should cover that.
Or maybe stealth World War II action is more your style. Check out The Saboteur with it’s slick Sin City aesthetic.
E3 ’09: Informative interviews and stray trailers
We’ll start with a couple trailers that slipped through the cracks yesterday. Bioware’s Dragon Age: Origins is looking mighty dark and violent and sexy, so that’s a plus. Just hope we get a demo soon.
This voice over guy for Madden NFL 10 is pretty jazzed up to say the least, lol. This online franchise mode is a big deal though. I might actually buy this game depending on the details of it.
Reactions: Madden has co-op?
Man, it really sounds like they’re adding more to this Madden than they have in years. Although, I’m still not entirely sure how this co-op works. Is it online only? Can two players play against two other players or is it just co-op against the computer? And even if this does turn out to be fully fleshed out and fun, it’s still light years behind the NHL and FIFA games. Seriously, how can they just ignore how NHL 09 revolutionized online competitive play in sports games? Madden NFL 10 should make all skill positions playable for some fully-manned online action. And speaking of the online mode, this video mentions an “online franchise.” What the hell does that mean? It better mean 32 teams and 8 divisions competing for the Super Bowl every month or so. And now that I think of it, couldn’t you always do “co-op” in Madden games? Now I remember why I stopped buying this game.
Author: CodyReactions: More Madden footage
I haven’t bought a Madden game since the debacle that was ’06, but it actually sounds like they’re doing some cool stuff with this year’s version. If they pull it off it could really add a new level of authenticity to the game.

They really need to add an apostrophe to that "10".
EA’s finally released the cover for Madden NFL 10 so that we know who not to draft in our fantasy leagues. I was really looking forward to nabbing Fitzgerald, but now I wouldn’t touch him with a ten foot pole. Then again, I suppose no injury could ever be as bad as my favorite football player’s pathetic un-retirement and ensuing self-sabotage of a glorious career…But enough of that. Let’s focus on things like how this is the first Madden game in the franchise’s 21 year history to feature two athletes on the cover. It’s nice to see the best safety in the game (Troy Polamalu) getting some recognition, but I really just can’t stop thinking about how these two suckers are going to fall victim to the curse. Maybe they’ll get in a car accident with each other…that’d be weird. Anyways, if you like crappy trailers that don’t actually show any gameplay, here you go.
