E3 09: Nintendo Announces The New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Now with more Wii!
Nintendo started their press conference off with a bang, announcing a new New Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii. This time around it’s not just you controlling Mario, trying to chase down and smoke King Koopa himself. Now you can play with three other friends. However, it’s not entirely co-operative. You can do things which will either help or hurt your partners depending on what you choose. For example, you can pick each other up, which can either be used to help your friends, or to thwart their efforts. New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be available for your 2D platforming pleasure this Holiday Season.

Mario really is in everything these days. Including the resignation notice of a 2K Australia developer known only as Jarrard. Instead of taking the tried and true route of workplace violence, Jarrard decided to program a little flash game to inform his employers of his resignation. If only I worked in a place where this was an acceptable form of quitting… that’s everybody’s dream, really. We should all look to this man as a model of how one should quit. Here’s to you, Jarrard!
