Trailers: ME2′s “Kasumi’s Stolen Memory” launch trailer
They must have stolen the thieving part of her memory, because that is not how heists are supposed to go down. Damn you Mass Effect 2 and your painfully linear/unvaried mission design!
Author: CodyReactions: Ain’t no party like a Mass Effect party

The festivities kick off tomorrow with Mass Effect 2‘s “Alternate Appearance Pack,” because everybody knows you need to look your best at a party. For the ridiculous price of 160 MS Points (because let’s face it, BioWare has no right to be charging for character skins when they wouldn’t even let you customize your party members’ armor in the game) Jack gets some too-cool-for-school sunglasses and blue-jeans, Thane gets a very fine coat and some crotchless chaps, and Garrus gets his irrationally large neck-hole fixed up so he doesn’t look like he just crawled out of a flying-car accident.

Titled “Kasumi’s Stolen Memory,” the as-of-yet unpriced DLC will reportedly offer around an hour and a half of content. That content comes by way of a meeting with one Kasumi, a thief you encounter on the Citadel and recruit to your party. Her loyalty can be gained by assisting her in going undercover to take down a corrupt art dealer. The new “Locust” SMG and flash-bang grenade will help you to deal with that art-pedaling space-fraud. Look forward to helping Kasumi out on April 6th for a small price.

Can’t wait for this month’s “Firewalker” DLC for Mass Effect 2? Quench your thirst for alien blood with this sort of alright looking gameplay footage of the Hammerhead hover-tank in action. And on a side note, am I the only person in the world who didn’t completely dread the Mako?
Author: CodyReactions: New missions coming to ME2, for free!

Yeah, you read that title right. Sometime next month, players itching for more Mass Effect 2 will be able to download the “Firewalker” pack through the Cerberus Network that comes free with new copies of the game.

Lollers. Also, this story allows you to see the culminations of all the Mass Effect 2 romances. Most suck, a few are okay, and I never noticed a picture of Liara sitting on my desk. Not like I would have felt guilty anyways…she went sort of wacko in the second game.
Author: CodyReview: Mass Effect 2

Score: Great
Difficulty played on: Veteran (step above normal, with Hardcore and Insanity outranking it)
Time to beat: About 40 hours including all side-quests
Loved the most: The epic scope of the story provided by the ability to import your Mass Effect 1 save.
Hated the most: Tedious and pointless mini-games that only serve to kill the great pace of the game.
With full-scale advertisement carpet-bombing and a critically acclaimed predecessor, Mass Effect 2 is probably the most anticipated BioWare title ever. And with the developer’s last game (Dragon Age: Origins) taking InsaneBear Game of the Year honors for 2009, all that hype certainly seemed justified. But as things usually turn out, Mass Effect 2 doesn’t quite live up to expectations. That doesn’t stop it from being a really entertaining game, though. Commander Shepard’s second adventure is a fast paced action-RPG with interesting characters and tight combat. It is however, heavier on the action than the RPG, which could throw some people off it they aren’t expecting it. But it does what it does well and will have you eagerly awaiting Mass Effect 3.
Author: CodyFeature: What lies beyond violence?

So the intricacies of the universe have recently come together to get me thinking about the role violence plays in video games. Mostly, the fact that virtually every mission in Mass Effect 2 forces me into combat even when I want to be diplomatic and an article I recently read on Kotaku have presented this question to me. Amidst the incoherent rambling of said Kotaku article, there was a choice quote that stuck out to me:
Author: CodyRandom: Mass Effect 2 can be funny
What’s not so funny is this convoluted disc-swapping action.
Author: CodyTrailers: Mass Effect 2 launch trailer
I’m still a bit confused as to who “the lost” are, but with all that goodness on screen, who cares?
