Trailers: First look at Uncharted 3′s gameplay
What can we derive from this? Jimmy Fallon sucks at video games. Also, that collapsing staircase of flames was simply delightful.

2010 VGAs: Uncharted 3 (crash) lands Nov. 1st, 2011
Based on the brief glimpses of gameplay at the end of that trailer, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Uncharted 3 will be awesome.

Turns out those rumors of the next Uncharted game being subtitled “Word of Deceit” weren’t that far off. Entertainment Weekly has spilled the beans on the highly anticipated sequel and is even providing a fair amount of details:

According to “an informed source” (viaKotaku), our favorite virtual treasure hunter might be heading to the desert for Uncharted 3. Beyond what this unnamed source says there are no facts to back this rumor up, but Kotaku does point out that “In Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indy traveled from the jungles of South America to the snowy mountains of Nepal to the Egyptian desert.” Mr. Drake has checked off the first two settings on that list already, and the Indiana Jones series has had an undeniable influence on Sony’s biggest exclusive. If I were a betting man, I’d put my money down on seeing some sun-baked sand in Uncharted 3.

What the hell? Why would anybody think this is a good idea. Instead of Nathan Fillion, David Boreanaz, Nolan North, or Colin Farrell, we get Marky Mark? Seriously? Putting aside the fact that he looks nothing like Nathan Drake, this guy simply isn’t cut out for lead roles. He can be good in supporting roles, but he just doesn’t have the charisma to carry a movie. He lacks the witty charm of a golden-hearted scoundrel. You know who doesn’t lack that? NATHAN DRAKE!

According to GameSpot, Amazon France posted a listing for Uncharted 3: World of Deceit over the weekend, which has since been pulled down. Sony and Naughty Dog haven’t officially confirmed a third entry in the wildly popular series, but it’s a no-brainer. Whether or not this is the official title, we probably won’t know until Sony officially reveals the game.

As far as trailers go, that was pretty bad. They could have at least shown some gameplay in there. But hey, it’s a free multiplayer map! How often does that happen?

The attention to detail in this game is just phenomenal. The animations really give it another level of believability. Kind of wish I had a PS3 for Nathan Drake’s latest adventure.
