Random: Finally, the Sixaxis is good for something

I would be remiss in my duties as a game journalist if I didn’t let you guys in on this little nugget I found over at Kotaku (via IGN). Turns out that the departure of Ninja Gaiden designer and full-time creep Tomonobu Itagaki hasn’t tamed the strangely public sexual fantasies of Team Ninja. What am I talking about, you ask? Well, dear reader, the house that Dead or Alive built has finally gone bat-shit crazy and implemented the ground-breaking ability to directly control breast jiggle with the Sixaxis controller for the upcoming Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Goodbye Ryu, hello Rachel!

Reactions: Exciting games get delayed, boring games get release dates

For whatever reason, this is shaping up to be one of the least crowded holiday seasons ever, while Q1 2010 could blow the world up with its awesomeness. Joining the likes of BioShock 2, Red Dead Redemption, and many other high-profile titles, Splinter Cell: Conviction will be lurking in the shadows for a bit longer than we thought. GameSpot is reporting that Ubisoft has pushed Sam Fisher’s highly anticipated return back from its expected November release date and into the first quarter of 2010. And in consideration of Sam’s loneliness, they’ve delayed Red Steel 2 into Q1 2010 as well. If that weren’t enough, the newest installment in the Ghost Recon series and the new intellectual property I Am Alive were also pushed back from their Q1 2010 dates to sometime during Ubisoft’s 2010 fiscal year (April 1st, 2010-March 31st, 2011). Bummer.
