Trailers: First look at Anarchy Reigns
Or should I say “rains”? Get it? Because she’s raining foxy vengeance down on dudes who we can only assume deserve a giant ice-sickle through the abdomen. And as fun as that sounds in theory, I have to say that I’m less than impressed with this gameplay video. Hopefully the online aspect of Platinum Games’ online Brawler infuses this thing with a little more pizazz.

And we can only hope that the “online action combat game with support for large numbers of players” takes its title from the protagonist, because the best characters are ones that can be summarized by their name.

Looks pretty fast-paced, but I’m still not feeling a lot of interest for this one. Maybe I should give it the benefit of the doubt given that the man behind Resident Evil is creating it, but jet packs aren’t really enough to sell me. Hopefully we’ll get some details at E3.
