Reactions: Linux Powered Gaming Device (re)Surfaces: Plays Game!
As a fan of both Linux and games, but not particularly of Linux gaming, I’ve been following the Pandora on and off for a while. The Pandora Handheld is an open source portable gaming system powered by Linux. It’s been said to play games, but until today only a video of what the system looks like had been shown. However, now it’s playing Quake. Quake, people! Yeah, I know, it’s really not much, but I suppose it’s better than nothing. Considering the thing has no homebrew development community yet, let alone offcial developer support, I don’t see much coming of this project, but it’s at least an interesting novelty.
