According to GameSpot, there’s a reliable tipster who claims that Sony will be cutting the price of the PS3 as well as introducing the long rumored 120GB PS3 Slim this fall.

More rumors! This one’s from an Australian trade magazine called SmartHouse, who claim that Sony has some big Playstation announcement planned for tomorrow. Could it be that long-awaited and much needed price drop for the PS3? Probably not, as there have also been rumors spreading that the PS2 is due for a price drop, bringing the legacy console down to $99. How exciting!
