Once again proving that in the face of terrible tragedy and disappointment, laughter is the best medicine. Oh, wait, you mean a funny commercial isn’t enough to boost sales for a flop of a game? Maybe developer talent is a better remedy.

Author: CodyE3 2010: Closing out Day 0 with some odds and ends
E3 hasn’t even officially started yet and we have three press conferences out of the way. So far, it’s been a pretty uneventful show. Hopefully that changes tomorrow. It is my full intention to continue liveblogging tomorrow for the Nintendo and Sony shows, but I must warn my dear readers that there’s a chance that might not happen. See, I could be dying and a trip to the doctor is in order as soon as possible. But don’t worry, I’ll get around to covering all the important stuff when I have the time. Well, that is if I’m still alive. We’ll see about that.

Well that was an incredibly boring trailer that hardly differentiates itself from the first game. Are they really building an entire sequel around the concept of, “Not just one, but TWO LIGHT SABERS, BRO!”? Oh, and Vader not personally dispatching his enemies on the spot completely negates the whole thing anyways. Am I really supposed to believe he would leave those schmucks to take care of his secret apprentice?

My hatred for the first game will prevent me from buying this one, but for those of you who are willing to turn the other cheek, you can turn it right towards October 26th. Going off of what GiantBomb has to say, it sounds like Lucasarts is certainly trying to improve the first disappointing title. Whether that works out or not remains to be seen.

Considering how force-resistant I was to the first game, I’m not terribly excited to bring you this release date for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. I am, however, awfully psyched to make your day a little better with that Bad Ass (note the capital B and capital A) picture up yonder. If only the game could be that epically tasty.
