Reactions: No New 360 Games Coming to Live’s Games on Demand Service

Notice the distinct lack of any new games?
Just as I expected when the service was first announced, Microsoft’s Shane Kim has confirmed that there will be no games being released on the new service day and date with their retail counterparts. “We’re not anywhere close to that world today,” said Kim.

As you probably know if you’re a good person and read our wonderful site all the time, Ryan and I recently started a Crackdown marathon. We got a little over half way through the game with the first session, and finished it off with these two mini Xbox Live sessions. There was lots of frustration and yelling and dying and teleporting enemies that weren’t exactly supposed to teleport. So I’m not really going to justify this crappy game with a well thought out recap. Have some pictures instead.

Haha, oh man, my titles entertain me. But anyways. If you’re into recurring rumors about things that won’t happen for months, then read on. According to GameSpot, there’s a reliable tipster who claims that Sony will be cutting the price of the PS3 as well as introducing the long rumored 120GB PS3 Slim this fall.
